How to connect

Passengers can connect to the service using Wi-Fi on their personal computer by selecting the Box TGV Wi-Fi access option from the list of wireless networks available.tgvEtVous.box.lien1tgvEtVous.box.bloc2_1bis

  • When you connect for the first time you will be asked to register free of charge by providing a username, an email address and a password. This will mean you receive a personalised welcome the next time you connect to the service.
  • Every time you use the service, the TGV Box will ask you to enter the details of your journey to enable it to monitor information relating to your journey in real time, particularly in the event of a disruption. Once you have established a connection, open your Internet browser to access the TGV Box portal homepage.

    The cost of TGV Box services

    • L’actualité et l’information SNCF en direct sont en accès gratuit.
    • Internet browsing is charged at €4.99/hour or €9.99 for the entire duration of the journey.
    • Multimedia programmes are priced at between €0.49 and €5.49.

    Methods of payment

    Content is charged per item or using the virtual wallet which will automatically be created when you register for the TGV Box service. By adding funds to your virtual wallet you will create a TGV Box consumption ‘credit’.

    Onboard:

    • using our secure online card payment system,
    • using a €5 or €10 pre-paid card purchased from the bar carriage.

    Before you travel:

    • by visiting https://boxtgv.net to add funds to your virtual wallet using your bank card.
    • by purchasing a pre-paid card from the Relay stores located at certain stations on the TGV Est network (including Paris Est, Strasbourg, Nancy, Reims & Champagne, Metz, Lorraine TGV, Epinal and Thionville stations).
